Isometric pixel art overgrown house by RGBfumes Isometric pixel art overgrown house by RGBfumes
Here is my second minimalistic isometric pixel art house. I decided to use even smaller palette - only  20 colours this time.
I really like painting those so probably will do some more soon!

Painted in Krita with mouse/Wacom tablet, scaled 3x to give it this old-school low-res look from retro games.

Thanks. On such small scale lines would take too much space :)

It's sort of cheated perspective (meaning it is not exactly like we really see the world) that is used in some games or in industrial technical drawings. This guy has some nice tutorials on this topic:  fav.me/d53dzgf

Just curious do you come up with your own palettes or do you use retro ones? Been trying to figure out how to draw minimalistic pixel art, but I'm having a hard time with it.

There's no scale ability in DA that I know of, so I, personally, wish there was a 100% scale offered with these sorts of displays. You never want your audience to have to work to see what you're throwing at them. If you're aim is to just include people who like the blocky minimalistic look of pixel art gone big, well that's a very small audience. What I'm trying to say is that I feel like this would look super amazing at 100% as well as it does blown up, but since it's 3x bigger and I dont want to take the time to download the image, open it in photoshop, try to match the pixel ratios correctly, etc even though it wouldn't take that long... I'm inclined to overlook the piece completely. I know I'm not the only one.

Thanks for sharing thoughts/tips. I scaled it up because my aim was to make this in the liking of this old-school low-res game art that I love so much. They're blocky, yet still amazing in my eyes. I'll consider reuploading it later in 1x mode, but in fact I never intended it to look this way...anyway I'll probably do also some high-res pixel art, after doing few more of this old-school stuff :)

It does look good scaled. I just don't want you to lose people/audience/followers? from the get-go since you mentioned you just started getting into this. Just wanna make it clear I'm not raggin' on it.

No worries, I didn't treat your comment as raggin at all. I thought of it as of a friendly tip :) I like getting tips and critiques and since you made en effort to write them, I did too to reply with an explanation of my intentions :) Thank you very much for caring! Have a nice weekend!

Yea me too. It's hard to get critiques and give constructive critiques. I also feel like it's a good way to make new artist friends.

Awe, have a great weekend yourself :D
